This privacy notice tells you about the information we collect from you when you sign up to register your interest in a Pocket Edition home. In collecting this information, we are acting as a data controller and, by law, we are required to provide you with information about us, about why and how we use your data, and about the rights you have over your data.

What personal data do we collect?

When you sign up to register your interest, we ask you for your name, address, contact telephone number and email address.

Why do we collect this information?

We will use your information to send you emails containing sales and marketing information regarding Pocket Edition properties and products. We may also send other emails promoting specific affordable homes and/or providers of affordable homes and ‘house-keeping’ matters (i.e. information from Pocket Living Limited for example, changes to Terms and Conditions).

Newsletters

When registering your interest, you will also be offered the option to receive a general newsletter from Pocket Living Limited, which will contain news directly or indirectly related to affordable home ownership, including, but not restricted to: government scheme news; mortgage news; changes to the Pocket Living Limited website. Registering to receive newsletters from Pocket Living Limited is optional and by doing so you agree to receive news and information from Pocket Living Limited which may include promotion of third party products and/or services which Pocket Living Limited believe may be of interest to you, and/or where the product and/or service is directly or indirectly related to affordable home ownership (e.g. financial services, including mortgages).

What do we do with your information?

Your information is safely stored in our database which is in the UK.

We do not use the information you provide to make any automated decisions that might affect you.

We will share your information with estate agents who we have appointed to deal with the Pocket Edition properties. Any such agents will be in the UK and will also comply with GDPR to provide safeguards for your information.

How long do we keep your information for?

Your information is kept by Pocket Living Limited until you unsubscribe. Your information passed to an agent will be held in accordance with the GDPR and you will have to unsubscribe from their data base separately.

Your rights over your information

By law, you can ask us what information we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate. You can ask us to confirm who we have shared your data with.

You can also ask us to give you a copy of the information and to stop using your information for a period of time if you believe we are not doing so lawfully.
